SHELBOURNE’S LUKE BROWNE and Sligo native Liam Kerrigan have both completed moves to Crystal Palace and Italian outfit Novaro respectively.
Browne has joined the Crystal Palace academy to be part of the team U18 side. Browne, who is also a graduate of the Shelbourne academy, made his senior debut on the final day of the 2022 League of Ireland Premier Division season against St Patrick’s Athletic. He featured twice more in cup competitions the following year.
He then joined First Division side Wexford F.C. on loan for the 2023 campaign. Browne represented the Republic of Ireland U18s and captained the U19 side in their European Championship qualifiers.
Kerrigan has joined Serie C side Novara on loan from parent club Como 1907. The former UCD and Sligo Rovers attacker has struggled with injuries since moving to Italy midway through the 2022 season, including a long-term knee injury last year.

As a result, the former Ireland under-21 international make just 12 league appearances for the Serie B side Como.
Como 1907 announces the temporary loan of Liam Kerrigan to Novara FC.
The club looks forward to welcoming him back and hopes the experience helps him recover fully.
Meanwhile, Bohemian have signed Estonian international duo Martin Miller and Michael Lilander from Flora Tallinn.
Defender Lilander and midfielder Miller, both 26, arrive at Dalymount Park on multi-year deals.
“Martin and Michael have been on our radar for a number of months,” Bohs manager Declan Devine said.
“They bring tremendously versatility in areas where we felt we had to strengthen. They also bring great experience – from playing in European games, winning leagues and playing at international level.
“Michael can play in multiple positions across the back four. He has played for both Flora Tallinn and Estonia at left-back, right-back and centre-back. He is a very technical and attack-minded full-back, and he is someone we certainly feel will add competition and real quality to our defensive unit.
“Again, Martin is a player with great experience. He has 31 international caps, has played at a very high level and has five league titles under his belt. He is a very attack-minded midfield player, as people here may remember from him scoring twice against Shamrock Rovers in Europe before.
“He is a real high-level performer who I feel will really enhance our group. We have a lot of talent and quality in our squad, and we want to make sure that any player we bring in this window will make us better, and these two players certainly will.”
The join fellow Estonian Sten Reinkort and Dubliners Rob Cornwall and Dayle Rooney as the club’s new signings for 2024.
